ABOUT
Hi, I’m Nicole Scafiddi, a lifestyle photographer devoted to capturing life’s most joyful and enchanting moments. Through an artistic and intuitive lens, my work reveals the quiet beauty of connection, preserving authentic memories that can be cherished for generations.
I specialize in newborn, family, lifestyle, and brand photography, creating imagery that reflects natural affection, luminous light, and the emotional essence of each moment. My approach is gentle and pure, allowing people, especially the tiniest ones, to feel completely at ease in front of the camera.
I am also the founder of the art of MANDALOGY™, a practice inspired by nature, mindfulness, and the sacred rhythm of life. Through this work, I explore photography as a form of visual meditation, a way to honor our connection to nature and the fleeting beauty of each passing moment.
A native New Yorker, photography has been part of my life since childhood. I grew up in a family of photographers and spent my early years immersed in the art and process of photography inside our commercial lab and studio, watching images come to life shaped my appreciation for light, detail, and storytelling.
My professional career has taken me through the world of luxury fashion and brand imagery. I previously led photo studio operations for Harry Winston, “Jeweler to the Stars,” and spent over a decade producing and directing photo and video campaigns for iconic brands including Coach, David Yurman, Diane Von Furstenberg, Nordstrom, The Jones Group, The Knot Weddings, and Tommy Hilfiger. This experience allowed me to collaborate with some of the industry’s leading photographers, stylists, and creative teams while building productions from concept to completion.
I hold a degree in Communication Arts from St. John’s University and studied Photography and Digital Imaging at NYU. Alongside my work as a photographer, I am a devoted student of mindfulness and philosophy, practices that continue to shape how I approach art, motherhood, and life.
Through my photography and the art of MANDALOGY™, I invite others to slow down, reconnect with nature, and rediscover beauty as a pathway to stillness and presence.
Today, I live in New Jersey with my family and I spend my days documenting the beauty of motherhood, childhood and the sacred moments in between.
